Monica is a Day-Of Coordinator based in Oakland, California. She has a history of enthusiastically planning parties and social gatherings for friends and family. In 2018, a former coworker/manager asked her to coordinate her wedding. She loved it, and the rest is history! In September 2018, Monica started Monica Made Events as a side hustle.  

Monica has a B.S. in Industrial Engineering. She has worked in tech for 10+ years. As a technical project manager and software consultant, she has learned to be extremely resourceful and detail-oriented. Event planning gives her a creative outlet that truly makes her happy! She is passionate about creating fun events - so that all you have to do is show up ready to party! 

Monica loves being #ACTIVE - whether that's hitting her Fitbit steps, killin' it on stairmaster, getting zen in yoga, hiking a new trail, or going on urban walks, she makes sure to maintain a healthy lifestyle to take care of her mind/body/soul.

Monica values diversity and inclusion! As a woman and Asian-American, she supports all walks of life and all types of love. She has worked on a variety of cultural weddings, including Indian/Parsi ceremonies, Korean Paebaek ceremonies, and Jewish weddings.
